Trump confuses Fox Business host, Maria Bartiromo.

During a telephone interview by Fox Business host, Maria Bartiromo, Trump addressed his concerns that Robert Mueller‘s investigation may have been tainted by machinations of “the two pathetic lovers” Lisa Page and Peter Strzok.

Bartiromo reasonably pointed out that the authorities had all their texts so there were no secrets. “Well, Peter Strzok and Lisa Page wrote everything down, so we’ve got all the texts.

Trump wasn’t having any of that. Rambling on over Bartiromo’s vain attempts to moor the conversation to reality, he said:

“Wait till you see the rest of their – here’s the problem, Robert Mueller, they worked for him, and two lovers were together and they had texts back-and-forth, e-mail back-and-forth…Mueller terminated them illegally. He terminated the emails, he terminated all stuff between Strzok and Page, you know, they sung like you’ve never seen. Robert Mueller terminated their text messages together, he terminated them. They’re gone! And that’s illegal! That is a crime!”

It made sense to him. (Credit: Mediaite)

Can the administration hire anyone decent – even by accident?

You won’t have heard of Bille Wehrum. He was the the head of the EPA’s Air Pollution Division. Two months ago House Democrats opened up an investigation into his links with utilities executives.

As a lawyer, he had often represented their interests. And as an administration official, he still seemed to view them as his clients, to the detriment of the American people.

The EPA Administrator, Andrew Wheeler, claims Wehrum’s abrupt departure was long planned. But I suspect that there wasn’t much time to throw together a ‘going away’ party.

Eric Trump is spit on.

Trump’s second son Eric was the victim of a waitress’ spit assault at an upscale Chicago bar, The Aviary. This did not sit well with Eric who was moved to find solace in the sanctuary of a conservative media outlet. He reported to Breitbart, “It was a purely disgusting act by somebody who clearly has emotional problems.”

Conservatives will no doubt lose their minds and demand accountability and ask how Eric can be better protected from this kind of assault in the future.

If only they were so vocal about addressing other disgusting acts by somebody who clearly has emotional problems’ – like school shootings.
