Trump Starts His 2020 Campaign By Attacking His 2016 Opponent

Trump start to 2020

In an event designated as the official start of his 2020 re-election campaign, Trump gave the largely old white crowd usual whining they have come to know by heart. Call it the fast food of political exegesis.

So similar was it to his usual pity party of complaints, whining and woe-is-me drivel that it was hard to see why he should have given this event its elevated designation. He mentioned Hillary more than he did the combined 2020 Democratic field. And he offered no new thinking on the road forward.

MSNBC aired none of the event and CNN cut away as soon as rum started attacking them and the rest of the ‘fake media’. This riled up Howard Kurtz of Fox News. Of their failure to carry Trump whinge fest in its entirety he offered: “What I have to say about this is it’s a lack of class.”

Nice try, but everyone knows the lack of class was on stage speaking. (Credit: Mediaite)
